Jimmy began playing trumpet in the 4th grade. A student of the late great trumpet teacher Russ Rigdon, Jimmy is also an accomplished valve trombone and base player and is known for his smooth and laid back vocal ability. Being a proud Veteran, Jimmy played in the US Army band based at Ft. McPherson, GA and has been a member with Four of A Kind since 1973. |
